Salvatore Cusato

Salvatore Cusato is an Italian DJ and Record Producer who also records under names Casco, Cusato and DJ Discoking.

He was born in Crotone and raised in Genoa (Italy).

Professional Disc-Jockey of A.I.D. (Associazione Italiana Disc-Jockey) since the year of foundation 1972.
In 1977 he was voted by a National referendum Italy's best Disco-DJ on weekly magazine
"Eva-Express".
In 1983 the artist debuted his producer career recording the Italo disco song
"Cybernetic Love" under the name of Casco on label CGD.
Since then he produced and released more than 50 singles records.

Top ten in Euromix UK charts Record Mirror with "The Captain Of Her heart 90" featured American singer Ronnie Jones out on label Disco Magic Italy/ZYX Music Germany.
In 1991 he released the official Dance Remix of "Tu" by Italian Pop Star Umberto Tozzi for CGD.

During the decade 1980-90 has contributed as columnist for following European Music Magazines: "Jocks" (UK), "Discomix" (UK),"Only for Djs" (France), "Disco & Dancing"
"Dance Music Magazine" and "Jocks Mag" (Italy).

In 1997 co-produced with Jonas Ekfeldt "Comanchero" by Robin Cook
joining the TOP 5 of official sales charts in Sweden and achieving gold status in Scandinavia (Stockholm Records)

Track "El Chocha Loca" out in 2000 on label Edel Music Finland produced by Salvatore Cusato is enclosed in soundtracks of movies "The Hot Chick" (starring Rob Schneider) and "Proof" (starring Anthony Hopkins).

Since 2003 member producer of the Eurodance project Eu4ya known for “Sara' Perchè Ti Amo 2003” cover version of song by Ricchi e Poveri (label Do It Yourself Italy).

In 2004 the re-issue of 80's Italo Disco track “Stop /Living Up" by Casco presents BWH (Radius Records N.e.w.s. Belgium). ¨
