Salar Zarza

Salar Zarza (born 23 September 1981) is a Dutch actor, film director and cameraman. He is best known for his role as Waleed Rami in A Facebook Romance for which he won an Angel Film Award collectively at the Monaco International Film Festival in 2012. In this film, produced and director by American-Jordanian film director Mohydeen Izzat Quandour, Salar starred alongside actress and model Lamitta Frangieh. Zarza played in "Caged" by Award winning Dutch film director Stephan Brenninkmeijer, before starring in television series like Walhalla with Johnny de Mol and Verborgen gebreken with Dutch actress Jennifer Hoffman. Zarza is also a martial artist, currently still holding a Dutch record. In 2014, Salar befriended actor and director Michel Qissi (better known as Tong Po, the main villain from the cult classic Kickboxer) and Bloodsport, who hired Salar to play Jaafar, the right hand of the lead character in the film Bara. Michel Qissi and Zarza are currently working on their new action thriller Out for Vengeance which is set to be partly shot in Tata, Morocco. Recently Qissi announced to be working with Zarza on his new movie Heart of a Lion.
