Sakina Lyoka

Sakina Philemon Lyoka (born 10 September 1976) most commonly known as Sakina Binti wa Lyoka and often referred to as Mama wa dawa yao is an East African television/radio host, actress, businesswoman and philanthropist from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Sakina works at Clouds Media Group one of the biggest Mass media Companies in Tanzania, and is among the most influential presenters in the country having been in the game for more that 17 years.
Apart from being a mother and a television personality Sakina also engages in various community programs and has even made her own campaign(The Afya ya mama campaign) which helps and provides women with information on Cervical cancer.
Biography
Sakina is a Muslim mother of three who started her journey in 2003 where she joined the Clouds media Group to kick start her career, Before hitting the television screens the “Ngari’Ngari” host used to be a Radio presenter in the company.
