Syed Mohd Irfan is an Indian TV show director and editor. Irfan is known for his famous talk show " Guftagoo " that was aired on Rajya Sabha TV. In his show, he interviewed many popular personalities from Bollywood, Politics, Authors and Theatre personalities. As an interviewer and talk show host a range of celebrities from top-notch actors of Indian cinema such as Irfan, Manoj Bajpayee, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Raghubir Yadav and Rajkummar Rao, to all-time greats such as Amol Palekar, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi and the lyricist Gulzar have gone through the Irfan drill by agreeing to an informal deal. Personal Life Irfan has attended Allahabad University. He has worked with Doordarshan and All India Radio. Irfan worked with Rajya Sabha TV for 10 years. In 2020, Rajya Sabha TV ended contract of Irfan. Guftagoo The show was first aired on Rajya Sabha TV in September 2011<ref name":2" />. The show went off air in 2020.
