Rupak Sapkota () () is an International Relations Scholar, currently serving as a Deputy Executive Director of the , a think-tank patronized by the . He earned his PhD in International Relations (IR) from the Renmin University of China. Sapkota has been performing as an emerging influential expert on global affairs. His research encompasses geopolitics, security studies, small- big powers relations, strategic studies of China-India-Nepal relations and the idea of Trilaterlism among these countries, Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and beyond. He is also a visiting faculty in the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy at Tribhuvan University.
