RouteNote is an independent record label and online music distribution service, based in the United Kingdom and founded in 2007. About Routenote is an independent label created with the purpose of helping new artists to publish their productions without mediating with a content aggregator or an established record company. RouteNote's services allow the distribution of all the productions of an artist to the largest digital music sales platforms, such as iTunes, Spotify and Amazon. Content publication and distribution services on RouteNote can be given in two ways: the first is completely free for the artist and in this the musician can upload their content to the site and from the profits obtained from the production, a percentage will go to the entity and the rest will be for the artist or label. In the second modality, the artist or label pays an annual membership to RouteNote and the profits of all the productions are for the artist or label. Services RouteNote's services include Digital Music Distribution, Online Label and Management Services, YouTube Network Opportunities, and SoundCloud Network Opportunities.
