RotoResume.com is a company that specializes in fantasy sports searches and match-making. The website is used by those looking to find a fantasy league to join, or to find an owner to fill a league's vacancy. Concept The concept of RotoResume is similar to that of popular job sites. That is, users may post a 'resume' for either their league or themselves. By doing so, others may see their qualifications and experience. Users may enter information about themselves or their leagues. The formatting and look-and-feel of their resume is standardized by the site. Usage Users may search for league openings and prospective owners without registering. However, by registering, using a valid email address, users are able to create their own resumes and contact the authors of other resumes. In addition, registered users have access to their own portal, dubbed "My RotoResume". Here user can readily access their own resumes, as well as resumes of others, and searches they have saved. The site may be used independently to find or solicit leagues and owners, or it may be used in conjunction with more traditional approaches. For example, prior to RotoResume, a common way that leagues and owners made themselves known was via message board postings. These postings could work in conjunction with RotoResume by allowing one to post a link to their resume within their post. Doing so allows the user to post on many message boards, while maintaining a single editable copy of their qualifications and experience at a central location.
