Rosa Hwang

Rosa Hwang (born in Busan, South Korea in 1973) is an award-winning Canadian broadcast television producer and journalist. She is currently the senior broadcast producer for CTV National News and the senior broadcast producer for CTV News Network Special Events.
Career
In her broadcast career, Hwang has covered a broad spectrum of stories, from the Pine Lake, Alberta Tornado in 2000 to the Papal Conclave in Vatican City in 2013.
Prior to joining CTV National News in August 2011, Hwang was the senior producer for Global National.
Hwang started her broadcast career at CBC Newsworld in her hometown of Calgary in 1997. She was transferred to the Toronto bureau of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in 2002. In 2003, Hwang was transferred again to the Washington bureau of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation where she covered a wide range of events including the 2004 U.S. Presidential Election. In 2005, Hwang was one of the first Canadian journalists allowed to visit the Guantanamo Bay Detention Camp at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
