Rooh Afza () is an upcoming 2020 Indian Hindi-language comedy horror film. The film is written by Gautam Mehra and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and directed by Hardik Mehta, and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba under the banner of Maddock Films and the rights purchased by Reliance Jio Studios. The film star Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Sharma in lead roles. The film is slated to release in 20th March 2020. Plot The film is set in Uttar Pradesh and revolves around fairies, spirits, ghosts attacking grooms on their first nights of nuptials. Cast * Rajkummar Rao as Rohan Awasthi * Janhvi Kapoor as Roohi and Afsana (double role) * Varun Sharma Production The film was announced on 27 February 2019 by film trade analyst Taran Adarsh. On 29 March 2019, Adarsh confirmed on his Twitter account that the principal photography will begin in June 2019 and is scheduled for release on 20 March 2020. |
