Ronnie Nader

Ronnie Antoine Nader Bello (born July 10, 1967, Guayaquil) is the first Ecuadorian astronaut with the title of Advanced Suborbital Astronaut and holds the chair of Space Operations Director at EXA the Ecuadorian space agency and has the rank of Aerospace Mission Commander in the Ecuadorian Micro Gravity Flight Program - PEVM-G., pioneered scientific research in artificial intelligence in Ecuador since 1989 and designer of the first fiber optics WAN networks on the country in 1992, built the first internet based e-commerce platforms on 1996. Although he was trained in a special program, the Ecuadorian Space Agency and the Ecuadorian Air Force have designated Nader as an Advanced Suborbital Astronaut (ASA/T).
As an ASA/T astronaut, he has set new records for Ecuador's aeronautic history including a high gravity tolerance record of 8.6 Gs during a training flight on a MiG-29UB jet and a flight at 21 km at 2734 km/h (Mach 2.4) on MiG-31E suborbital launch simulation exercises, making him the Ecuadorian citizen that has endured more gravity, flown higher and faster.
During Project DAEDALUS on May 6 2008, Nader gave his country Latin America's first micro gravity plane, and designed the Multivectorial Gravimetric Computational Platform MGCP-MK1 device that allowed the plane to perform the micro gravity parabola, also developed the Young Human Micro Gravity Training Program (YMTP) and the Micro Gravity Induction Regime (MGIR) that in June 19 2008 allowed the EXA and the FAE to earn the Guinness world record for the youngest human to fly in micro gravity
Nader is set to fly as mission specialist for the first three manned space missions of the Ecuadorian Civilian Space Program
