Music career
Littl'ans (2005-2007)
Joice was the tambourine player of UK band Littl'ans. They were an English alternative band who gained small success in their short time performing.
They released a single with Pete Doherty titled "Their Way" on October 17, 2005 reaching number 22 in the pop charts and number 2 in the indie charts.
They supported Babyshambles on their autumn 2005 tour alongside playing other dates with them in 2006, and embarked on their own Club NME tour nationwide in the late months of 2005.
The band were also adopted by the fashion world, making appearances at influential fashion shows - including those for GAP and Vogue. They also played exclusive 'shows' in the National Portrait Gallery and Great Eastern Hotel.
Littl'ans continued to toured across Europe and North America, including seminal fluid shows for New York hipsters The Misshapes and for Hedi Slimane's birthday party in Paris a year later.
No Picasso (2007-2009)
Lead singer Joice formed the 'band' in 2007 alongside Daniel Gigaseri, Josep Xorto and Littl'ans band-mate, Ben Hutchinson.
During their short lifespan they again supported Pete Doherty's Babyshambles outfit frequently.
They were personally invited by ex-The Libertines front man Carl Barat to support his band, Dirty Pretty Things on their farewell tour.
The band toured rigorously around the UK and Europe before their split in 2009.
Fashion
Hedi Slimane
Hedi Slimane expressed an interest in Littl'ans and in particular, Joice, who in Spring 2006 he shot Joice an exhibition called 'Portrait of a Performer', shown at the Grand Palais, Paris that year.
Filmed against a white background, Joice stepped onto a white stage and reproduced an entire gig, ritually performing and transposing his act. The video, in a very small format, is protected under a black metal hood whilst a black full length mirror invites the viewer to perform, completing the piece.
In 2006 Littl'ans were adopted by Hedi Slimane to write the soundtrack for the Dior Homme Spring/Summer 07 fashion show, a fifteen minute track called 'We Looked Good Together'.
Modelling career
Joice also 'modelled' in the show, famously wearing Slimane's diamond-encrusted angel wings down the catwalk - becoming a fitting finale for Slimane's final ever show for Dior Homme.
Joice began an unsurprisingly short lived career modelling following his appearance for Dior Homme. He was shot for the likes of PPQ, Fred Perry, Tommy Hillfigger, and K-Swiss alongside being featured in Vogue, W and iD magazine being shot by the likes of Olivier Zahm and Rankin.
