Rommel Duan Tariq Hippolyte(born 17 July 1995) is a St.Lucian footballer who plays forward for Micoud F.C and the St.lucia National Under-20 team.
Early Life
In the summer of June 2009 he had the opportunity to attend a football program lead by Keith Alexander(deceased) who was at the time a UEFA Pro-Licensed coach and the manager at Macclesfield Town F.C.
St.Mary's College
Rommel attended St.Mary's College where he made appearance for both the senior and junior teams and proved vital to the team by guiding them to two finals in consecutive school football tournaments in 2009 and 2011 losing the first and being victorious two years later.In 2009 he finished the competition with 8 goals and 4 assists.Two years later he scored 8 goals and assisted 3 times in 5 games.He brush with the media came after scoring 5 goals in one game in 2009 and in 2011 scoring a hat-trick and 2 assist in the semifinals.
National Team
In 2011 Rommel was in the national squad which participated in the Winward Island School Games.He made 3 starting appearances although failing to register a goal.
