Rod Rodriguez is a teacher in the Ateneo de Manila University under the Department of Marketing and Law. As a businessman, he is a developer and operator of foodcourts in the Metro Manila and is considered one of the best developers in the city in the field of food services. As a writer and photographer, he has made a mark in the industry with his graphic novel and still images. Majarlica: Bayan ng Agimat a graphic novel launchd during the Manila International Book Fair has received positive reviews from critics with its re-introduction of the traditional Filipino artform along with the English translations contained in the book intended for the international market. He has made generous support and contributions to various institutions from the sale of his images and graphic novel as part of his philanthropy works. Rod Rodriguez is running for a congressional seat in the fifth district of Manila.
