Rock Williams

Rock Williams is a former Fort Worth, Texas, on-air radio personality for KFWR ("95.9 The Ranch") and producer for the station's morning show. Born with the name Kevin Wayne Williams in Dallas, Texas, in 1971, Rock moved to the Houston, Texas, area in the early 1980s, but calls the town of Spring, Texas, his home. Rock is known for his off-beat comedy and spontaneous antics that tend to keep him always riding on the edge of normalcy.

Career
Rock received his "call name" while working with Texas country band, Cooder Graw. Working as merchandise director for Cooder Graw was his introduction into the mechanics and inner-workings of the music business. From this base, Rock tried his hand at band management, working with The Charlie Shafter Band. Rock learned more about the music business with music manager and friend, Mike Crowley, and after two years on the road with Cooder Graw, finally began in radio.

Williams eventually went to work for the City of Dallas in Animal Control. Not enjoying the euthanization segment of the job, he returned to his previous EMS training, working on an ambulance in Dallas alongside his best friend, Jeff "Jimmy" Gilbreath.

Personal life
Rock now resides in Fort Worth with his fiancee, Robin. His hobbies include the martial arts of Krav Maga and Jiu-jitsu.
