Robert Downs aspired to be a writer before he realized how difficult the writing process was. Fortunately, he'd already fallen in love with the craft, otherwise Casey might never have seen print. Originally from West Virginia, Robert has lived in Virginia, Massachusetts, and now resides in New Mexico. Even though Robert always loved reading, a discipline instilled in him from an early age through both of his parents, it wasn't until he watched Finding Forrester that he discovered his muse and a side of writing beyond its basic technical aspects.
