Robert Douglas Cosby (born April 2, 1981 in San Juan, Puerto Rico) is a Minor league baseball infielder who is currently a free agent. Cosby was originally drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 10th round, 313th overall, in the 1999 Major League Baseball Draft. Minor league career After being drafted by the Blue Jays, Cosby was assigned to the Medicine Hat Blue Jays of the rookie-level Pioneer League. He then spent to in Single-A and , , and in Double-A for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. He played in Triple-A in for the Syracuse SkyChiefs. In , he played in Double-A for the Houston Astros organization. He became a free agent at the end of the season. |
