River City Rumble

River City Rumble is a 2004 comedy film spoof of the Nintendo classic beat-em-up River City Ransom, produced and distributed by X-Strike Studios, written and directed by Tim Ekkebus. This was X-Strike Studios's debut film and Tim Ekkebus's directorial debut.
Plot
An evil gang boss, Slick, kidnaps Ryan’s girlfriend and holds the city for ransom. Now it’s up to Ryan and his best friend Alex to fight through a city packed with evil gangs, brutal bosses, and... fine eateries?
Fun Facts and Trivia The DVD has many bonus features including a video mini-documentary about the Mid-Atlantic Gaming Festival or MAGFest; also included is a DJ Potato music video, a commentary track featuring Joe Cammisa (Joecamnet), and a short film "The Edge of the World".
