Rivalus

Rivalus is a manufacturer of nutritional supplements aimed at professional and Olympic-caliber athletes. The company excludes the use of all ingredients banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the International Olympic Committee in manufacturing its supplemental products. Rivalus’ line of supplements is designed to help athletes improve their strength and fitness by creating a product free of hazardous, unlabeled, and banned substances.
Rivalus products have been scrutinized for containing dangerous ingredients, prompting GNC to pull its products from store shelves.
Overview
Rivalus is head-quartered in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and was founded in 2008. Dr. Darren Burke was a professor of human kinetics at St. Francis Xavier University and a nationally ranked Canadian athlete of 20 years before he left academics to become founder and CEO of Rivalus.
The company produces nineteen supplemental products without the use of ingredients outlawed by WADA or the Olympic Committee. These student athletes are awarded $10,000 in scholarships and products to pursue athletic aspirations at the collegiate level.<ref name="W3" /><ref name="ST" />
