Ritual of the angel of death

The ritual of the angel of death is an occult ritual that originated in Romania in the 13th century. Medieval folklore holds that if a dying person can obtain the book that describes the ritual, the person's death will not occur and he or she will be granted eternal life. Romanians described the book as a grimoire written by the angel of death after it had been held hostage by a magician who used and incantations to imprison that angel. The angel of death went on to explain in the grimoire how to prevent consistently one's own death.
Romanian dogma says that if the book appears on the doorstep of a person's home and that person neglects to perform the ritual or performs it incorrectly, the person will die soon after. The interval between the book's delivery to one recipient, a Hebraist with a Ph.D., and his death was two weeks. The cause of death was a heart attack.
Some observers believe that a Golem is created while someone is performing the ritual properly.
Practitioners of the occult believe that the book that describes the ritual of the angel of death is the only book ever published that reveals truthfully how a human being can gain power over his or her own death.
