Rita Conte

Rita Maria Conte or better known as just Rita Conte (Born March 24, 1987) is an athlete and a teacher to pole dance profession. She is the founder of Pole Dance Academy in Florence, Italy. (http://www.poledanceaccademia.it/)
She is one of the main tutors in the academy.
She is renowned largely due to her role as the protagonist in Clean Bandit's .
Her major personal achievements include:
# She participated in Italian Championship 2014 and reached the finals.
# In 2015, she won the silver medal at the inter-regional, stepping to the semifinals of the Italian Championship sports stacks.
She is a single mother of a boy.
Along her way in her life she had faced a lot of difficulties and had sacrificed a lot; stating: "It was not easy to travel, to be a student and teacher, never forgetting the role of mother."
"I started from nothing, and as a single mother I had no support in order to grow" - she said - "from nothing but the passion for pole dancing has made me grow." in an interview by Fulvio Paloscia.
She is currently engaged as of 2017.
Professional Life
In 2011, she developed the passion for pole dancing and through the years crafted her skills in the field. She would occasionally take part actively in the local pole sport competitions but eventually hit the milestone after 3 years in 2014. At this stage she started getting recognition on national basis and continued her efforts.
In 2016, she had founded the Pole Dance Academy and is one of the most honored and experienced tutors in the Academy.Clean Bandit and Sean Paul saw her performance in the 2016 Italian Championship Pole Sport on YouTube and consequently decided to chose her as the protagonist for the music video along other dancers. The hardships that she had faced during her life fit perfectly to the role of the "single parent" as depicted by the song .She currently is working on her now bright-looking future and is currently enjoying an unexpected moment of fame.
In an interview after the shooting of the music video she stated that "I, like the protagonist of the video, started my career in pole dance to anything. I always wondered how these girls who are mothers realize their dreams with absolutely nothing. When I made it myself, only then I realized that to succeed, you just love what you do. We have to study and although things are uphill, we must not give up. The pole dance made me reborn ".
Apart from that, she is now an international pole sport judge and also is a pole sport coach recognized by IPSAF(Intenational Pole Sports & Arts Federation).<ref name=x/>
