Riley Boychuk (born February 20, 1991) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He is currently an unrestricted free agent who previously played with the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL. Boychuk was selected by the Buffalo Sabres in the seventh round (208th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Boychuk played four seasons (2007-2011) of major junior hockey with the Portland Winterhawks of the Western Hockey League (WHL) where he scored 39 goals and 44 assists for 83 points, and registered 391 penalty minutes, in 194 games played. On July 7, 2013, the Buffalo Sabres traded Boychuk to the New Jersey Devils in exchange for defenceman Henrik Tallinder. On January 19, 2014 Boychuck was assigned to the Elmira Jackals. Boychuck registered his first point as a Jackal, an assist, on January 24, 2014 against the Fort Wayne Komets.
