Richard Werbe is a Silicon Valley entrepreneur and startup CEO, best known for co-founding Studypool. Early life Werbe was born in Paris, France. He graduated from Tatnall High School in 2012. He then attended Emory University before dropping out in 2014. Career Werbe has written articles for the Huffington Post and Virgin Group blog. He shares insight on entrepreneurship, startups, raising venture capital and team building. His first startup Stockniche was launched while he was still in high school, before successfully being acquired in a private acquisition. Werbe is currently the Founder and CEO of Studypool, which is backed by Sillicon Valley investors including Dave McClure's 500 Fund and Fabrice Grinda, as well as Great Oaks Venture Capital and Lerer Hippeau Ventures. Studypool is an online marketplace that connects students with tutors on a per-question basis via SMS messaging. Werbe began working on Studypool in the Spring of 2014, while still in college. Within the first month of the site going live, Studypool had thousands of users. Werbe decided to focus on the venture full-time, and left college to move to Silicon Valley and build a team.
