Richard Stern, username rickyste on YouTube, is a YouTube comedian and critic. Under the video persona "Lazydork", Stern keeps his face characteristically unshaven and sported glasses, pajamas and a blue bathrobe. According to the Associated Press, Stern serves as "defender of the site's grass-roots nature." YouTube Stern gained notoriety on YouTube by adopting his "Lazydork" persona for tongue-in-cheek rap videos. Two of his most popular take aim at YouTube starlets == Not so "lazy" == News media took notice of Stern in September 2006, when he revealed to the The Miami Herald that until just a few days prior, in addition to his hobby on YouTube, he had found time to work as a Miami-Dade prosecutor. The admission hit his former colleagues "like a bomb". In wake of his resignation, Stern moved from Miami to Las Vegas to try his hand at professional poker. |
