Reza Ghorbani MD, ABIPP, FIPP (born April 18, 1966) is an American Medical Doctor and the current President of the Advanced Pain Medicine Institute in Washington D.C. He is also the founder of Truceuticals Inc., which produces Noxicare, a natural product designed for pain relief. Dr. Ghorbani is known for his work in interventional pain relief medicine, and has been featured in several media outlets, including the New York Daily News. Early life Reza Ghorbani was born in Tehran, Iran, and lived there until he was 17. His parents then sent him to the United States to attend college at Tufts University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biology in 1987. He continued on to study at Tufts University School of Medicine, and earned his M.D. degree in 1992. He is currently the President and Medical Director of the institute, and he specializes in a variety of pain treatments, including lumbar epidural steroid injections and spinal cord stimulator implants. In 2010, Ghorbani founded Truceuticals, a company dedicated to create natural pain relief medication. Truceuticals produces Noxicare, a formulation for relieving inflammation and pain, as well as a line of vitamins and antioxidants.<ref name="NXR"/> He is also licensed to practice medicine in Washington D.C., Maryland, and California.<ref name="NXR"/>
