Renaud Dumora

Renaud Dumora (born July 4, 1965 in Bordeaux, France) is a French business figure. He has been CEO of BNP Paribas Cardif since January 15, 2016.
Biography
Education
Renaud Dumora graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique in 1989. He holds a diploma from the National School of Statistics and Economic Administration (l’ENSAE ParisTech) obtained in 1991. He also graduated from the Institute of French Actuaries that same year.
Career
Renaud Dumora’s career began in 1990, when he joined the Compagnie Bancaire, where he was the head of statistical studies, then as a management controller.
Between 1994 and 2000, Renaud Dumora joined Cardif and became the Head of Creditor Protection Insurance Actuarial department. He performed a variety of functions before taking lead of the actuary at BNP Paribas Insurance (which became BNP Paribas Cardif in 2011).
In 2004, he became global Head of Protection. In 2007, he was named co-director of the International Department. He also became a member of the executive committee in the same year.
From 2009, he was promoted to Head of Finance and Risk Management at BNP Paribas Cardif. In 2012, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer, and in 2014 he also took on the management of the legal department.
In 2015, Dumora became Deputy Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Cardif. He contributed alongside Pierre de Villeneuve to deliver the company’s strategy, based on the diversification of its activities towards property and casualty damages as well as the internationalization of the group’s insurance saving and protection activities in Europe, Asia, and South America.
In 2016, Renaud Dumora was named CEO of BNP Paribas Cardif, and became part of the executive committee of BNP Paribas.
