Reis Vermaak

Reis Vermaak (born November 1978) is a UK radio presenter, record producer and club DJ.

Born Michael Hewitt in Coventry, England, Vermaak started his musical career at the age of seven when he started to learn the piano. By the time he was 14 he was creating music on Cubase and mixing on his Technics SL-1200's.
After discovering the atmosphere of the dance club, he went on to produce a number of dance music hits under several pseudonyms. His trance music productions include "Reunited Again" (produced especially for a special night at the Passion nightclub), "Discovery", "Everyday Life", "Freedom" and "Vortex".

As of January 2009, Vermaak presents a weekly radio show on Saturday nights on Kingfisher FM, a UK radio station based in Redditch. During his two-hour show he plays both classic and often exclusive up-and-coming trance music. He also invites guest DJs into the studio for the Guest Mix that lasts between 30 and 60 minutes. Recent special guest DJs include Pacha's Random Geezer, and E-Lisset.
Vermaak makes guest appearances at Passion, Godskitchen, Global Gathering and Gatecrasher.
