Reimagined

Reimagined is the upcoming album from Spice Girl Melanie B. The album is due for release in early 2009. "It's an R&B-pop kind of thing, a cross between early and Destiny's Child. Urban pop. That's what I do best, where I come from, what people know me for, I've recorded four songs so far with some really great people," she says. One of the producers behind the album is Rodney Jerkins, aka Darkchild, who previously worked with Brown on the Spice Girls' final studio album, Forever, in 2000. Scott Storch revealed they are currently working on Mel’s new album together. Brown revealed in June 2008 that she had completed ten tracks. The first single Is rumored to be released in late 2008.
Mel B won't release songs about her ex-lover Eddie Murphy because she has "moved on".
The former Spice Girls singer, who is currently working on a solo album, has changed her mind about revealing details of their bitter split and decided to drop tracks 'Second Hand Lover' and 'Reflections In A Broken Mirror'.
Mel told New! magazine: "I was keen to keep those songs in and then I thought, 'Why am I giving this jerk any reference? I have moved on!'
Earlier this year, Mel revealed she wanted to get her revenge on Eddie by penning hate-filled songs about him.
The 33-year-old singer was keen to vent her frustration at the 'Beverly Hills Cop' star because she claims he rarely sees the pair's 18-month-old daughter Angel Iris.
Mel said: "The working title on my new song is 'Beverly Hills C**k' because that is what he is. He never bothers with his daughter. I mean, what kind of man is that?
However, Mel later admitted she may have to tone down the lyrics after Eddie's lawyers said they wanted to listen to the LP before it was released. It was Announced at a signing for her new Dvd that the album will be released in April with the First Single In March. It was also confirmed "Whose Is It" is not the first single.
