"" Introduction: This article speak of the region of Shaba in Gor , after the novels of John Normans, The World of Gor. Location of Shaba in Gor: Shaba is situed in the region of Schendi (Jungle of Schendi) and close of the jungle of Ushindi, around Lake Shaba. Shaba called also Jungle of Shaba or forest of Shaba, rainforest equatorial, there is of ruins of ancient city of Shaba close of Lake, in the north there are camp of Talunas, but there exist others races around as the Mamba and Pygmies. In the book 13 (Explorer of Gor) there are the details on Shaba and the region. the cartograph Gorean design the region of Shaba as the Africa of Earth. Races of Shaba : Panthers Girls : There is no Panthers Girls in the region of Schendi, Ushendi or Shaba. The Panthers live in the Northern Forest. Talunas of Shaba and Ushendi : The Talunas lives in the forest of Shaba and the jungle of Ushendi close of Lake Shaba,they are also the true Mistress of the région (Schendi, Ushendi, Shaba). They come from various cities to the south of the jungle, some free women, some escaped slaves. They bear some similarities to the panthergirls of Northern Forest.The Talunas wear brief animal skins, necklaces of claws, and sometimes gold adornments. They live in small thatched huts in small bands. They are not known to have dancing circles like the panthers. Talunas despise slave girls and this one band that Tarl encountered had enslaved a group of pygmies. There is little indication of how many taluna bands exist and what differences may exist between them. The Mamba of Uschendi and Shaba : The mamba live in the jungle of Uschendi and in the jungle of Shaba and in dialect word, it mean Thalarion. Tribe of mamba are as of predators of the jungle and resemble as a tharlarion and they are known as cannibals on Gor. The Pygmies of Shaba : The pygmies live in the jungle of Shaba close of the jungle of Ushendi, they are always in war against the Talunas of Ushendi. These people are no taller than five feel tall and weigh no more than eighty pounds. Though their features are negroid their skin color is more coppery than dark brown or black. They wear loincloths with vine belts. From the loops on their belts they hang hand knives and small implements. They carry spears and nets, fish, hunt and make cloth. They speak their own language. Tarl Cabot encounters one group of pygmies and it is unclear if other bands of pygmies exist elsewhere in the jungles. These pygmies were the slaves of a band of talunas and had been taught Gorean by them. Due to their small size, the talunas had overpowered them. Tarl showed the pygmies how they could earn their freedom and enslave the talunas. City of Schendi The City of Schendi is a free port, administered by black merchants, members of the caste of merchants. It was also the home port of the League of Black Slavers, but their predations were commonly restricted to the high seas and coastal towns well north and south of Schendi. Like most large-scale slaving operations they had the good sense to spare their own environs (Explorers of Gor). Schendi is situed on the coast west of the jungle of Schendi close of Port Basi. Sometimes the black caste of merchants of Schendi come in the Jungle of ushendi and also in the forest of Shaba for captured Talunas and jungle catgirls and for enslaved them and sell them on the market of Semris.
