RefNavigator is a reference management software. It is designed for researchers and scholars to search and manage their scientific papers. The software is built on Microsoft .Net platform and it is a shareware. Currently it only supports Microsoft Windows platform. Features Researchers often collect lots of e-papers and other references on their hard disk, reference management software is designed to organize and index them. Such software also helps researchers to format citations and bibliographies when they are writing papers. RefNavigator allow users to organize references by year, by author name, by keywords or by tags. Thus users can group references from different perspective. Users can also attach notes to references and make cross links between them. RefNavigator supports grabbing scientific references from lots of popular websites, including Google Scholar, Pubmed, IEEE, Arxiv, etc. It means users don't need to search keywords on website and then go through all web pages. Instead, the well-formed references are saved into local library and can be cited directly. RefNavigator supports Z3950 protocol so users can connect to any existing Z39.50 sites such as Library of Congress. After search and organize references, researchers need to cite them and make bibliographies in their papers. Formatting citations and bibliographies manually is a tedious work. As a reference management software, RefNavigator has an add-in for Microsoft Word. Users can insert citations and format them automatically with more than 1800 popular bibliography styles. With a GUI style editor, users can define their own bibliography style
