Founded in 2001, it is headquartered in San Jose, CA with a development center in Hyderabad, India. The CEO of the company is Venkat Mattela. Redpine Signals' products include single stream 802.11n chipsets and modules; subsystems such as Serial-to-Wi-Fi converters, and system products for Wi-Fi based Real Time Locating Systems (RTLS). Redpine also offers 'Wi-Fi Starter Kits' that include Wi-Fi Interface cards integrated with micro controller development kits from Renesas Electronics and Freescale Semiconductor.
