Reckless Love

Reckless Love is a four-piece glam/pop metal band formed in Kuopio, Finland in 2001. They released their self-titled debut album on February 24, 2010 and are currently on tour.
History
Reckless Love started their career in Spring of 2001 playing covers under the monkier of Reckless Life, a homage to the Guns N' Roses song of the same name. This lineup included current members Olli Herman, Pepe Salohalme, Jalle Verne and former drummer Zam Ryder. (These three members had a classical background, as they played in a brass orchestra in Kuopio, Finland.) After a good while together they started to craft their own songs. In 2004, with new drummer Mike Harley, Reckless Love won a local band contest and proceeded to release their first promo-single "So Yeah!!" by the end of the year.
In 2005, Reckless Love particpated in a local Kuopio project called Popcity, as Kuopio was nominated the "Popcity" of the year. Reckless Love released the single "Light But Heavy" as a product of the Popcity project. The purpose of Popcity was to help local bands in their career and to gain them some international exposure. Three other local bands took part: Rainbowcrash, SVAT and Sideshow Zombies. Reckless Love initiated a mini-tour called the "Scandinavian Tour" (with another Kuopio band, Steel Frank), covering Sweden, Norway, and Denmark in 2005.
After a few years playing shows around Finland, frontman Olli (known as H. Olliver Twisted at this point) went on to be lead singer of Swedish sleaze rock-band Crashdïet in January 2007, after former singer Dave Lepard passed away in 2006.
During Olli's stint in Crashdïet, they released 2007's "The Unattractive Revolution" and toured Europe shortly after. But on July 13, 2008, the official Crashdïet website posted Olliver Twisted could manage two full time vocalist positions and left Crashdïet for Reckless Love.
In January 2009, drummer Mike Harley left the band only to be replaced by Hessu Maxx a week later. This new lineup inspired Reckless Love significantly in musical development.
The band finally sealed the deal with Universal Music on April 23, 2009, and Reckless Love released their first official single "One More Time" on June 8, 2009.
Their second single "Beautiful Bomb" was released on October 15, 2009, and November 4 saw the release of the accompanying video. Beautiful Bomb was the first official music video by Reckless Love.
RL's third single, "Romance", was released on February 20, 2010. Three days later Reckless Love performed in Latvian Music Awards, Riga.<references>http://www.voice.fi/shared/shared.inc.php?cid=13627</references> They also heavily promoted with the local press, radio and TV.
On February 24th, 2010, Reckless Love released their debut self-titled album.
Currently, Reckless Love is on tour and scheduled to perform at the famous Download Festival in Donington Park, UK June 12, 2010.
