Rebecca de Ravenel (b.6 August 1982, New York City) is the daughter of Jean-Charles, Marquis de Ravenel and "Jackie", Marquise de Ravenel. She is a cousin by marriage of Lapo Elkann. She is the goddaughter of Alberto Pinto. Early life and education She grew up on Lyford Cay in the Bahamas. She was educated at the École Active Bilingue Jeannine Manuel in Paris. She also was enrolled at Institute Le Rosey and the Parsons School of Design. In September 2002, she started an internship at Yves Saint Laurent in New York. Liking New York, she worked as Oscar de la Renta's design assistant. She lives in Greenwich Village, New York. |
