Rebeca Omordia is an award winning Romanian classical pianist. Education Rebeca Omordia studied at the National University of Music Bucharest with Dana Borsan and then in 2007 won a scholarship to the Birmingham Conservatoire. In 2010 she continued her studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London with Mikhail Kazakevich having received the Ofenheim Scholarship. Career Rebeca Omordia has performed as a solo recitalist and with orchestras in prestigious venues in Belgium, Finland, Austria, including White Hall in Helsinki, Wigmore Hall in London, Birmingham Town Hall and Bucharest Romanian Athenaeum. She has played with major orchestras in Romania and she has recorded for Romanian National Radio. She has also appeared on the Romanian Cultural TV Channel. Recent appearances include Saint Saens Piano Concerto no 2 with “Oltenia” Philharmonic Orchestra in Romania, BBC Radio 3 In Tune and Wigmore Hall and Ocean Sun Festival in Norway with renowned cellist Julian Lloyd Webber.
