READY: A Hostage Story is a play by Terry Godard. It was performed on four occasions at the Westport High School auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri from November 16 to November 18, 2007. The first of many plays, which, the money from the play went to help redevelop Westport High School's theater production. Description This story is about a young man by the name of CJ Smith. He is dealing with the untimely death of his father after a car crash and life shattering injuries to his mother. The faith passed down by his late father is what he's torn between and the ways of the world taught by the streets. As tragedy unfolds, CJ unravels, and the question is "How far will he go?"
