Reach 2009 Reach Music Festival 2009: This year’s Festival will be held on January 9, and10th in Oyster Creek Park. The event will encompass family accessible music, display local art, and house a drive-in movie viewing area to promote awareness, and provide family entertainment. Music: The music portion of the event has drawn interest from acts from the local area, throughout the USA, and, from all around the world for that matter, which has been made possible by partners like Dart Music International. With over 30 musical groups, the festival has a lot of to offer. Local Youth Involvement: In past years, we have had the involvement of over 300 local Fend Bend and HISD high school students, and are looking forward to making that number grow. We are also expanding our efforts by integrating art into this year’s event. Local high students will be allowed to showcase their art during the event. Awareness/Film: The festival's newest addition to this year’s event is film. In Lost Creek Park, there will be a Drive-In that will serve as a viewing area for films. This will showcase a line-up of documentaries, family films, classics, as well as, a local film competition that will be judged by the event attendees. The screen will also be a way for local businesses to promote their business, in conjunction with a great cause.
