Razor D

Razor D (born June 12, 1979) is a British professional wrestler, boxer & martial artist, best known for his work with Dundee Underworld Boxing Club from 1996-2004, & a short run with Scottish Wrestling Entertainment (SWE) as the founder & captain of a faction known as "D-Mob". He left SWE in the autumn of 2004 after realizing there was no future in that company, before briefly returning to part-time boxing competition in 2008-2009. On June 14th 2009, he retired from all active competition due to a fragmented disc in his neck.
He is a former eight time middleweight boxing champion with a W.L.D record of 425-3-7. Prior to his retirement, he was also among the top ranked Tactical Edge & CQC fighters in Scotland.
PROFESSIONAL BOXING CAREER
Razor joined the Dundee Underworld Boxing Club in the summer of 1996 during his last year of school at the recommendation of a guidance councillor in the hope it would channel his negative aggressive energy into something positive. After he began boxing professionally, Razor racked up scores of victories against opponents much senior to him in terms of experience, & often in a higher weight division than him. After taking 1st place in the UK Invitational Boxing Tournament of 1998, Razor was given the nickname "The U.K Hammer" by his coach, Dean McAmmond. (So called by the way he brutalized his opponent in the finals. (The name "Razor" came about after he opened a 4 inch cut over fellow boxer Vincent Payne's eye in 1997 which looked as if he had been slashed with a razorblade. He carries the scar to this day.)
In the fall of 2002, Razor had amounted an unprecedented six middleweight championship title reigns, each of which had been vacated after a certain period of time at the request of the champion himself. In what would have possibly been his 7th championship title victory, he squared off against partner-in-crime Donovan O'Fallon. After what some would say was a lucky punch by Donovan, Razor landed awkwardly, seriously damaging his left rotator cuff, & was forced to spend the best part of 2003 on the sidelines.
Upon his return at the beginning of 2004, things were different. Razor had lost the majority of his punching power due to the permanent damage that was done to his shoulder, & it would ultimately lead to his choice to retire from boxing later that year, at which stage he took on the role of trainer which he performed until the club closed down at the end of 2004.
