Raymond Hall

Raymond Hall is a long time lawyer, airline pilot and now the federal Conservative nominee in Winnipeg South Centre.
Early Life, Marriage and Family
Hall was born in Red Deer, Alberta, on July 5, 1949 and grew up for the age of 7 in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is married and has two children.
Education
Hall attended school in Alberta and British Columbia. He attended Simon Fraser University and the University of Winnipeg. After that, Raymond went on to receive a B.A., a M.B.A. and multiple law degrees. Raymond later got a job, part time at a Winnipeg Law firm, Taylor Mccafry. He is billingual- speaking fluent French as well as English.
Employment
In 1967, in his first job, was as an Air Traffic Controller at Vancouver International Airport. He was later a flight instructor and worked as a pilot in the air force from 1969 to 1972. He was employed has served for almost 40 years as a Air Canada Pilot retiring as a Boeing 777 Captain, recently retired. He is also a lawyer at Taylor Maccaferey in Winipeg.
Jewish Life
Raymond Hall has always been an active member in the Jewish Community. He feels a very strong connection to the state of Israel. Being a pilot, he has flown over 200 times to Israel. As a large supporter of Israel, he made a speech at the Berney theatre on terrorism. He has written multiple articles for the Jewish Post and has made speeches to classes at Gray Academy on Israel and on Flight. Also, he can speak his share of hebrew. He attends the Shareey Zedek Synagogue, as well as the Chevra Mishnayes.
Political Career
Raymond has always been involved in Canadian politics. He has worked on many different campaigns, such as the Brian Mulroney campaign in the 80's. He has recently been chosen to run as the Conservative nominee for Winnipeg South Centre. The incumbent is Member of Parliament is Liberal, Anita Neville.
