Ralph Dasen was born on February 12, 1930 in a small town in Iowa. He was the youngest of a large family. His father left him when he was 2 months old and his mother passed away due to cancer when he was 12. After living with his sister and her husband for a year he moved out on his own at the age of 13 years. He graduated from high school in June of 1948 and moved to New York where he had his first sexual experience, a threesome, with twin sisters he meet. Ralph served his country in the ARMY from 1950-51 during the Korean War. He was stationed in Alaska and said the ARMY was the worst 2 years of his life. After he finished his tour of duty he attended Iowa State University and studied Civil Engineering on the ARMY's GI bill, which provided money for him and other veterans to attend college. While in college he meet his wife Charlotte and they had 4 children, Jeffrey, James, Catherine and Anita. He later had 11 grandchildren and hopefully no great-grandchildren to date. He retired from AMPI after 33 years of hauling milk and today keeps busy riding bicycle 50 to 100 miles a day and serving as the head of Hilary Clinton's caucus and campaign in Samborn, Iowa. He also is a member of "Veterans for Hillary."
