Rahul Basak is the co-founder and CEO of "Amar Canvas" and chief editor of "My Canvas Talk". He is a social entrepreneur, documentary photographer, public speaker, and upcoming author. Early life Basak was born at Gangarampur, South Dinajpur in West Bengal. He went to study for Bachelor of Technology from Heritage Institute of Technology and followed by Masters of Engineering in Computer Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology in 2017. In the very next year, he dropped out of his master's degree and started his entrepreneurship journey with his friend Amit Kumar Mahishya Das. Entrepreneurship career Basak's visit to Hong Kong Film Festival accelerated his journey as an Entrepreneur. Amar Canvas "Amar Canvas" is an online platform that helps artists and handicraft makers sell their work online. It was started by Rahul Basak and Amit Kumar Mahishya Das in November 2018. Their aim was to make every artist in the country an entrepreneur. My Canvas Talk My Canvas Talk is the first-ever (Stage Based) talk platform which is originated from Kolkata, West Bengal. The platform brings experienced people and provides them with a stage in order to bring theirinside story in front of the world. As a Photographer Mr. Rahul Basak is a Documentary photographer whose primary field of work is to portray various fields of human psychology like, Loneliness, Depressions etc. Basak has worked with the SWAN (SKYWATCHER'S ASSOCIATION OF NORTH BENGAL)too. As a public speaker He appeared on the various renowned platforms nationally and internationally, including TEDx (2-Times) and Josh Talks stage. Various institutions like IIT-Dhanbad, IIT-Varanasi, NIT-Durgapur, KalyaniGovernment Engineering College, St Xavier's College Kolkata, KIIT, The Heritage Group of Institutes,Institute of Engineering & Management, Techno India Group, national television channels like Doordarshan (Bangla), radio frequencies like ISHQ 104.8 FM and 94.3 Radio ONE him for delivering talks as well he judged many events including 5-Times for International Hult Prize (On Campus).
