Rahman Alemi

Rahman Alemi is a Behsoodi of Wardak Province and an Afghan filmmaker who has produced several award-winning short documentaries in Afghanistan, Finland and the UK. Alemi first studied in Iran, receiving his BA in documentary film, and completed his studies in Finland. Rahman Alemi was one of the organizers of the 1st Afghan Film Festival in London. He now lives in England. The short movies he has directed and produced: The Bones Business Time Of Silence Return To Afghanistan Have To Sell When Spring Arrives * After Silence (2015) Currently, Rahman Alemi's film," The Bones Business" has been accepted into the the XIV St.Petersburg International Film Festival. |
