Queen I-Asia(Lisa Newton) is a all American hip hop female artist from Hempstead Long Island. She started rapping at the age of 16 doing various talent shows in the NYC area. Later she was discovered by Proff GrifF The Minister of Information from the revolutionary group Public Enemy which consist of
Chuck D, Flavor Flav, Terminator X Proff Griff and the S1W's. Proff Griff began to mentor her and she soon started to travel with the popular group across the county. In early 1988 she released her first single title "Crack Cutie" with a female group and they called themselves
the ELITE FORCE which was a female version of Public Enemy. These young ladies considered themselves minsters of information. The group consist of the lead rapper Queen I-Asia, Sharemia,(Minster of info) Edie and Terry S1W;s and later they was join by Queen Mother Rage
who later became part of the revolutionary group Xclan. Along with there DJ Scratch Master Jazzey G they performed at my venues such as THE FAMOUS APOLLO THEATER, NEW MUSIC SEMINAR, THE MILKY WAY, OPENING ACT FOR PUBLIC ENEMY PHILADELPHIA as well as many
write ups in newspapers and magazines. There hit single Crack Cutie was produced by Proff Griff and Simon Harris Music of Life Record London. Although there single was never released in the United States its golden in London and oversees. Queen I-Asia gives credit to the
