qLabs is an [http://en. .org/wiki/R_%26_D R&D] Lab which refers to a set of services, innovation and research on testing techniques and methodologies. Majority of their services are defining Test Strategies and helping in selecting the appropriate state-of-the-art software testing tools and practices that enhance productivity, minimize risk, improve product quality, reduce time-to-market and extend strategic advantage through enhanced overall Test effectiveness.
History
qLabs was created in 2007 by Impetus. The first webinar on Testing Automation was announced by qLabs on 14th November, 2008 - Friday at 10:00am PT / 1:00pm ET.
They organised the first workshop on Test automation on 15th December, 2008 at Noida
Technologies
Test automation framework is a framework from qLabs which uses practices like functional decomposition, keyword driven and data driven methodology. This generic framework can easily be implemented for all type of web application. The use of framework does away with the need for writing scripts for test cases and a normal test engineer can add new test cases to the automation suite without knowing the nitty-gritty of the underlying tool.
WhiteBox testing framework is their another framework which is extended with re-usable functions library on top of the industry standard frameworks to provide scalable and repeatable process. WhiteBox test cases can be designed separately. qLabs' Framework approach to white box testing allows rapid test development and faster delivery and saves time for the test engineer.
