Qasida of Dhaka () is a Bangladeshi documentary short film which was released in 2020. The film is directed by Anarya Murshid and produced by Bangladhol Ltd. Plot Qasida is one of the lost music of Dhaka. During the Mughal period it was admiration of the emperors. After the departure of the Mughals, the Qasida here began to be composed around the month of Ramadan. Shahedi, Marcia, Naat-e-Rasool etc. is the style of Qasida. Tunes are applied to the rages of Bhairabi, Malkosh, etc. In the middle of Ramadan, there was a competition of Qasida in the alleys of Dhaka and at the end it was frozen. The women and children of the house used to stand to hear this song. Qasida is no more. Yet a few artists still try to hold it. This documentary is about Qasida's pomp, history, tradition and present.
