PUA Training

PUA Training, which stands for 'Pick Up Artist Training', is a primarily London based company that offers dating and lifestyle coaching for men. It was founded by Richard La Ruina, described in Time Out as 'Britain's answer to Neil ‘The Game’ Strauss' in 2007 and has grown to be one of largest such companies in the world, with branches in Germany, Italy and Korea.
History
The company's attitude to pick up comes from the methods laid out in La Ruina's book The Natural Art of Seduction which emphasises developing 'natural' and honest social skills. This is in contrast to the vision of seduction popularised by Neil Strauss in The Game where aspiring PUAs would learn scripted lines, or 'routines', and use those to further their interactions with women.
Since its inception the company has made several appearances in the world media including Channel 4 and Dragons' Den, as have its most notable coaches.
Training
The main activity of PUA Training are live events where students receive a combination of theory and then live practice interacting with women under the supervision of training staff. PUA Training refers to this as a ‘bootcamp’. In additional to pick-up, the company also offers courses and consultations on fashion, lifestyle, confidence and self-development.
Notable lifestyle coaches
PUA Training is best known for its founder Richard La Ruina and its top coach Adam Lyons. Richard originally found fame in the seduction community on publication of his book The Natural Art of Seduction and is highly regarded and Adam is currently ranked as the number one pick up artist/dating coach in the world.
