In the Dungeons and Dragons fantasy role-playing game, most commonly the Forgotten Realms campaign setting, the Pterafolk are a race of humanoid pterosaur-like creatures, who have a magical ability to turns their wings into arms and back again when they wish.
Pterafolk live in largely-inhospitable regions of Chult. They are a savage, tribal race, created by the sarrukh to serve as warriors, but their intractable nature proved too volatile for that role.
