Psychodrivers can be compared to Newtypes from the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise. Distinguishing Characteristics Like Newtypes, Psychodrivers can sense disturbances and disruptions through their awareness, whether it be friendly or hostile. It is unclear what the extent of their psychic powers are, but it is known that stronger, more potent Psychodrivers can sense fellow users from a long distance and use their abilities to deadly extremes. The dialogue from Super Robot Wars Alpha 3 mentions how a Psychodriver's ability can be utilized in various ways. While weaker users are limited to certain abilities, potent Psychodrivers can perform all kinds of psychic powers, including precognition, telepathy, telekinesis and even teleportation.
