Proud Simon is a five-piece Americana band from Brooklyn, New York. Its members include Brian Keenan (Vocals, Guitar), Adrian Morgan (Bass), Chaim Tolwin (Drums), Avi Pavlovich (Guitar) and Bryan Trenis (Piano, Hammond B3, Rhodes). Their newest album, "Night of Criminals" is due to be released in November 2008.
Night of Criminals
"Night of Criminals" is an ambitious two-act whirlwind of cinematic Americana-tinged indie rock. The two sides of the record tell the story of a single night- the first a testament to workaday hope, anticipation, and revelry, and the second a descent into the darkness, where good intentions find endless obsessions and temptations endure. It will be released on November 11th, 2008. The band will be releasing the record at Pianos on the Lower East Side of Manhattan alongside bands Phonograph and Consider the Source.
