The Princeton Roaring 20, is one of the best known and loved collegiate a cappella groups at Princeton University. Now co-ed, Roaring 20 was originally founded as an all-male group called Cat's Meow in 1983. With a fun mix of Hip Hop, Pop, Rock, Jazz, Classical, and other genres, Roaring 20 performs a highly diverse repertoire of music, ranging from Irving Berlin and Gershwin to Radiohead and Ben Folds Five. In addition to weekly performances in Princeton’s Gothic arches, the group tours extensively around the country and around the globe. Recent tours have taken them to the Dominican Republic, Paris, the Virgin Islands, San Francisco, Montreal, and Italy. The group has entertained audiences such as hospitals, schools, alumni gatherings, receptions, private parties, cruise ships, weddings, corporate functions, and the set of ‘The Price Is Right’.
