Early Life Preston Treend grew up in Richmond, Michigan. He has two younger brothers, Pierce and Parker. He attended Richmond High School and participated for the Blue Devils wrestling all four years of his high school career. High School Career Preston was an outstanding high school wrestler. Alongside wrestling, he lettered in varsity football. He was awarded All-State and All-Macomb County Dream Team honors. He was also a six-time Academic All-Blue Water Area Conference award winner and a two-time Blue Water Area Conference champion. . He was on the Dean's List every semester of his high school years. He also appeared on the Free Press scholar-athlete list. However, while in high school, he suffered multiple injuries, tearing his ACL and breaking his ribs. He fought his way back onto the mat, and committed to Olivet College in Olivet, Michigan. College Career After graduating from Richmond High School, Preston went on to wrestle at Olivet College. . He won many of his matches in his college career. He graduated with a major in social studies secondary education and a minor in chemistry secondary education. Wrestling Coach Coach Treend is currently a successful head coach at Richmond High School. Under his leadership, Richmond won a state title in 2017 . The experienced Richmond team took down rival Dundee in a decision by the referees . Trend looks forward to winning more state championships and guiding a Richmond team to victory after victory.
