Premier Cricket League or PCL is composed of corporate teams playing Twenty20 cricket matches. It is a national corporate cricket league in India.
The league was created by Viswam Sports Network Pvt Ltd , a sports company based in Hyderabad, India.
The first edition of the league was played between January and March in 2008. The 2008 league cities were Hyderabad and Mumbai.
Deloitte India emerged as the winner of the inaugural season of the league.
The league is played only once a year. The second edition of the league is scheduled to start on January 3, 2009.
The league cities for the 2009 season are: Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi,Pune, Chennai, Bangalore
The 2009 season features a total of 289 matches to determine the corporate India cricket champion.
The league aims to expand to 16 cities in the next four years.
